Shit Happens...

Dun dun dun...yep, I got the red ring of death. I've had my 360 for a year and a half now, I think. I was playing the Force Unleashed when it happened, and it was probably the first game I was going to talk about. So yeah, I'll post more videos when I get updates on the repair process. I've just sent an e-mail to Microsoft Support to have them send me a box and a shipping label. It should arrive in around four days, and I'll post a video then.

And cheers to Brian, who wanted to be mentioned but has nothing to do with this video in any way. He knows who he is.

Stop buying 360 with 60 gb hdd and buy elite with 120 gb-> Elite doesnt have cooling problems and rrod coz microsoft has fixed those problems on elite.

@redferet Bummer man, apparently they're supposed to have a really low failure rate too. My 360 rrod'ed again, and it's not under warranty anymore. Gonna have to fix it myself.

Well, sometimes, if you're lucky, your 360 will be fine after you restart it, but for most people it won't work afterwards. Although you may have had 4 red lights, and that means either the Power adapter or the Video input (I'm not sure) isn't plugged in properly.

Let me say this..

All the Xbox 360's witch were made betweeen the release date and till Dec 2007 has a possible chance of recieving the RROD because Mircosoft Xbox 360's falcon chip was not built in that time period you can check when your Xbox was made by looking at the back of your console where the ethernet port is and then look above and see the Manufactuer Date.... if its before 2008 Bad luck for you if its after 2007 well done =)

anyone know what the 1rst and 3rd lights blinking red means, cause i got that and my xbox was hot, so i put something cold on it and it works ok...but i dont know how long
