My first sluice box. If there's any changes you think I should make, tell me. Please comment so I have better ideas if I make another one.

@alizaderic Ummm....although I agree with you on the expanded metal all the way at the top of the sluice, there's no reason why you can't just use ribbed rubber matting all the way up top.....slick plate catches no gold.

you might want to add holes to the middle part of the pvc pipe because the water seems to be flowing mainly on the sides and it might run a little bit faster that way.

JUst one thing. Remove the large size expanded metal from the top of the sluice. YOu want a section of slick plate before the riffles. I'm an experienced placer miner and mine owner.

Looking good........the only thing I'd do is make sure you pre classify the gravels down to the size of gold and slightly bigger just in-case you find some pickers.
Other then pre screening she'll work great for you.....have fun with your high banker.
