There's zero controversy on that point, Tani. Manny just passed Mickey Mantle on the home-run list. To say that Manny is a large potatoe is to understate the question. Without Manny, the Red Sox would still be stuck at their 1918 World Series title. Manny as a player is a gigantic potatoe.
