i want a 49 merc just like this. bare steel too. not sure if i have my lingo right here, but it looks like you "frenched" the taillights and NOT the headlights. is that right? i guess i would have done them both. i do like the shaved handles though.

For God sakes paint it a solid color. No latina flames or pinstriping. A Solid color is so much cleaner. Everyone tries to be an artist. A true artist knows when to put the paint brush down. Twilight

WHOA!!! I just got in the December'07 HOTROD Magazine,,,,this Merc (yes this one!) is in there!CONGRATS!! The only bad part is whining "oily spoon" Dale Jr. Every other sentence he says "my mom n dad".Dale how'd you git ta whar ya are? "my mom n dad",,etc,,lol.
