@tybash yea i guess i wont know until my braces come off, but i dont see it making a huge difference.. I could be wrong though. My sister had 4 extractions with her braces and that was 8 years ago and her teeth are perfect still..and her face doesnt look weird or anything

Thanks, my little bro is going to fix his overbite, his teeth are pretty straight. I was worried the extracting might ruin his whole face.

@tybash My lip is okay so far, I havent noticed any changes in how my face looks or anything bc of the extractions.I am satisfied with it because i knew having teeth pulled was inevitable.as for the braces, my bottom teeth are straightening out quite nicely. My insurance didnt cover anything for the braces but when I had my teeth pulled the nurse handed me a paper showing me what the procedure costs, what my insurance covered, and what I had to pay.. so i just paid and got them pulled :)

How is the lip? are you satisfied with the procedure and how much did your insurance offered to cover before you knew the cost of the procedure?

I see a lot of back and forth questions on here..so I figured I would share my experience too. My braces were $3700 and are clear brackets on top. My bicuspid extractions were like $550 or something, but my insurance covered most of it so I paid $150 out of pocket. I have an overbite but my top teeth were originally pretty straight, and not sticking out as far as this, and my bottom teeth were a train wreck.. VERY CROWDED.. im about 8mo. along.

@iMixiu I only had the higher tooth problem. Lol it's okaaay I had many questions before I got braces too. I think you should go to an orthodontist for them to do a consultation for you! [:
