I'm nine months into studying the language ab initio at university and I love how much I can understand from listening and comprehend when reading the Japanese comments below. I shall echo the earlier poster and say that you've pretty much inspired me to strive ever higher on my course. You really set the benchmark for awesomeness. I miss your instructional videos and hearing about your progress! Hope we see plenty from you over the summer!

@nabusan Thank you so much! You've definitely made faster progress than I have with the language if you can understand most of this and read after 9 months, well done. It really means a lot when people say that I have inspired them, but I don't really feel like my Japanese is as good as it should be by now to be frankly honest. College hasn't really helped my progress much at all. Hopefully I will make some videos after my exams! :)

@tmrdrgz Ah same dude, university does a bit - but most I've found I'm doing almost all my crucial studying over summer privately. I've started my summer holidays now, which means cramming more into three months than I have all year long - hopefully the same for you, too! The summer's a great time to bring you up a few notches /my dorky-awesome idea of fun xD You'll be starting your uni applications this autumn, so good luck with that!
