You know what, I am a staunch Democrat, but Christie did something today. He said he would allow gay marriage in New Jersey if the Legislature passed it - if the citizens wanted and voted for it. Yes, it would be better if he just passed a law allowing gay marriage, but no typical Republican governor would ever have the mind to do what he did. And I respect Chris Christie for that. What he did was honourable. Admirable.

As a gay man at least he agrees that we are born gay, and even though he is not open for marriege he is open for other rights, that more better than the other Rep. running in 2012.

He said he would support and allow gay marriage if the legislature passed it, correct. But, he is smarter than you think. He is putting the vote up to the public, where a majority is against the minority. Who do you think would win this vote? I agree with you that he showed some type of support, but not enough support. It is not okay to put it up to the majority to over ride the minority. It is an unfair advantage.

it has nothing to do with what political party you are, its how they were raised, and how much they believe in their religion. there are republicans that feel differently just like there is democrats. its just their teachings that are showing through, or as i like to say brainwashing.

Don't be a fool. The Democrats are the only ones with gay people's well being in mind. And because of that reason alone, they have my vote.
