Before you hack or modify the CH Products Flight Sim Yoke, watch this video. We show you the inner workings of the CH Products Yoke, placements of the linkages to the potentiometers, the troublesome centering springs, the removable mini-levers and the wires to all the switches.

Note: disassembling consumer products may void the manufacturer's warranty.

  • Great video. I've been thinking about purchasing that yoke and it's nice to see the inside of it. It looks like the pots are easily replaced should they go bad.

  • @hopper1 ya, and the pots are heavy-duty

  • I built a simulator based off of your PACS platform. I have wooden armrests 3/4" deep. I would like to take button from the Logitech Attack III Joystick and "set them into" the wooden arm rests. That's not the problem, though. I need to find out how to make buttons for the now "naked" push modules attached to the micro-controller. Ideas for making buttons?

  • Great video! You should've showed the PCB that has the microcontroller.

  • @Twistx77 Ya, you're right. Wish I had thought of that. Well, I do plan on embedding this video in the DIYflightsims webpage. I can add pictures of the microcontroller on that page
