Joe: Well you are my wife.
Demi: B-But you never held my hand before.
Joe: Well, do you not want me to hold your hand?
Demi: I don't mind (i smiled looking out the window)
Joe: Wait, where are we supposed to meet everyone?
Demi: Um...um i don't remember. I don't think they even told us.
Joe: They would...(he sighed) I need to meet up with Emily later.
Demi:(i looked out the window) Just drop me off in front of that diner over there and meet up with her. It doesn't matter...
Joe:(he sighed once again) No Demi, just no.
Demi: What? Just go, do whatever you do with Emily.
Joe: I can't just leave you.
Demi: I'll be fine Joe. Don't worry about me
Joe: You can get hurt! I'm not gonna leave you standing alone!
Demi: Then bring me home! (i rose my voice a little, why is treating me like a little girl)
Joe: No! (he stopped the car once again)
Demi: Why not?! (i screamed at him getting annoyed with him)
Joe: Because if i leave you alone to go hang with Emily everyone will be mad at me!
Demi: It dosen't matter, does it?! No, just bring me home and go have your fun!
Joe:(he sighed) Demi, i want to spend time with you, just not today.
Demi:(i crossed my arms and looked at him) I don't care, i want to have fun on my birthday, not fight with you.
Joe: Fine, i'll bring you home, but you're telling everyone why we didn't show up.
Demi: Kay. (i smirked and got out of the car, little did he know i was meeting Selena at the mall)
Joe:(he got out of the car and ran after me) Wait, where are you going?!
Demi: To meet Selena at the mall. (i waved and kept walking)
At the mall---
Selena:(she ran up to me) Hey birthday girl! How ya feeling?
Demi: Alright i guess....
Nick: Where's Joe?
JM: Yes, where is my son?
Demi: He went to Emily's...
JD:(he sighed) He needs to get rid of those sluts.
Nick: Don't worry dad. Sel and I will take care of Joe.
JM: You better, i don't like him cheating on Demi. (she looked at me) You're his wife, you should talk to him about this.
Demi: I have...it's complicated. (i looked at Selena) Can we get to shopping?
Selena: Yeah, lets go. (she dragged me along) So what happened in the car with Joe?
Demi: Stuff. (i mumbled) He kissed me. (i looked through a store window changing the subject) That's a cute top!
Selena: He kissed you?! How long?! Did you like it?
Demi: Yes, i don't know, maybe...
Selena: You still love him Demi, no matter how many times you deny it, you still love him.
Demi:(i sighed) Selena....
Selena: You know it's true Demi. And he loves you too.
Demi:(tears filled my eyes, i shook my head violently) No...no. (i ran out of the mall quickly. what she was saying is a lie. Joe dosen't love me back...no, that's impossible)
Demi's P.O.V
I couldn't belive what she said, no. He dosen't love me! No! Tears were streaming down my face, why do i care so much? I always knew he didn't love me, but why is she saying he does? No...he can't...it's just not right. I ran and ran, i had no idea where i was. My tears blurred my vision, i accidently ran into someone. They sounded like they had also been crying. I looked up at them, trying to figure out what they looked like.
Demi:(my voice cracked) I-I'm sorry.
??: Demi? Are you alright?
Demi: Y-yes i'm fine. (i looked down at the ground, whoever it was it was a dude)
??:(he wrapped his arms around me) Want me to take you home?
Demi: N-No i'm fine. (i walked away from him quickly)
??:(he chased me and grabbed my arm) Demz, wait up.
Demi: J-Joe? What are you doing, i thought you were with Emily
Joe: She was with Mitchel. And i felt bad. Why are you crying? Whats going on?
Demi:(i looked at him) I-I'm in love. (i ran away from him as fast as i could)
