It is son and heir -_- it's in the handwritten lyrics to the original song.... And "to nothing in particular" means no items to be inherited.. Tatu did a cover to the original and couldn't change the lyrics or it would not be a cover.... Tatu dis a great job on it! Bravo!

@Star12121 It was written primarily by Morrisey about being homosexual, he felt like an outsider because it was not socially acceptable to be gay at the time. Hence the line 'I am the son and the heir...etc'. He was also trying to say that we are all human we all need love so how can it be that because he loves another man that it could be considered wrong, hence why he says 'how can you say, I go about things the wrong way, I am human and I need to be loved.' That last bit is quite profound.

Im afraid this beautiful song is a civer version of a 1984 smiths song, sung by a man, who talks if been the "son and heir" of a shyness.
English lanuage is confusing if it isnt your first. This song is about loniness.

I understand people being annoyed at this cover. However, I like it and there are always bands doing covers of songs that piss off the fans of the orignal. But it does create a new song for different people to enjoy. So what's with all the arguing? It's just a song.
