According to Christians, 2,000 years ago the Jewish people and their religious leaders did not recognize the coming of their Messiah. They expected Him to arrive in grand style and conquer their enemies with all of His power and might. They expected Him to physically setup His kingdom on this earth and rule here forever. He came to them at a time and in a way they least expected and they still, to this day, do not acknowledge Him.

For the past 2,000 years Christians and their leaders have been expecting this Messiah to return in grand style and with a great battle in which He will conquer His enemies with all of His power and might. They expect a day of judgment, and the end of the world as we know it. They expect that the time is coming soon when the Son of God will be glorified, achieving total victory over sin and death, and fulfilling all of the prophesies of the Bible.

Jesus explained to His disciples, in Matthew 24, that this end would come like a thief in the night, at a time when they least expected it. To this day, Christians look to the future for this great hour to arrive. Just as the Jews had preconceived ideas about how and when the Messiah would come, Christians have many ideas about how and when the Messiah will come back to obtain His final victory.

Are the Jews wrong about Jesus?

Are the Christians right about the details and timing of His coming?

This book is a re-examination of the story of Jesus, and demonstrates how the acknowledgment of once seemingly insignificant details of specific Bible passages can change the outcome and bring clarity and recognition to the most important hour in human history...
