A basic introduction to the Laplace transform. We define it and show how to calculate Laplace transforms from the definition. We also discuss inverse transforms and how to use a table of transforms.
Such ideas have important applications in the solution of differential equations.

  • Multiplying the LT by the constant 'B' gave me a B.L.T. which once digesting at the table made me feel a little on the heaviside function and so I procceded with some excercises which helped me with shifting theorem the weight.
