Empty Conversations filled with empty words
NECESSARY TO READ BEFORE WATCHING:
My first video on my new account and boy, did I slave over this one. I experimented with new effects, used a texture from http://veredgf.fredfarm.com/textura/index.html so credit is due there :) This was a very interesting video I put together as I tried my best to capture emotion within the scenes being viewed and the audio which was a new challenge, I must say. It is absolutely necessary to read below if you want to know what the heck is going on:
Summary
The video begins on a confusing note, with merely audio to set it into motion. The scene being played out keeps recurring through the entire video in different parts until the whole picture is pieced together.
Present day, we see Jack drinking away his problems, his compass close at this side to tell him what he already knows. His memories of a funeral are displayed with a slight flash of an argument betwixt the two lovers that was meant to have happened months before.
In the midst of his constant drinking, Jack's captaincy is put into question as he begins to snap at his crew members and believes they're pitying him. Trying to convince them and himself that he is perfectly fine, he fails as the bitter reminder of Elizabeth returns in full force. It is here we learn Jack had returned to Elizabeth after his ship was stolen *end of AWE)and their almost-love was rekindled. Jack is seized by blissful memories of he and Elizabeth together before we see a distorted flash of Elizabeth underwater and a cold thought of Jack chained to the Pearl once again.
It is then we see more of what has happened. A very still Elizabeth is settled down and a horrified and devastated Jack rushes off to become as intoxicated as possible to try forget all that's happened.
Another figure of the story appears as we see Jack shooting and killing Barbossa somewhere between then and now. In addition, we see a scene after Jack had returned to Elizabeth (after AWE) to see him planning to steal back the Pearl to which Elizabeth struggles to dissuade him from as she sees it as foolish to risk his life for a ship. Of course, Jack ignores her plea as the Pearl means the world to him (a lesson he apparently had not learned completely since DMC).
After a scene of Jack drinking some more still plagued by vague memories of pulling Elizabeth from the water, the story finally emerges:
We see that a battle had ensued between Jack and Barbossa for the Pearl. Jack, having left Elizabeth to fend off Barbossa's crew on the ship they'd commandeered, swung to the Pearl to face Barbossa, only to find the man had been planning for this and we see a large explosion on the commandeered ship which Elizabeth had still been fighting on.
Back to the present, Jack is upon his recaptured Pearl (having killed Barbossa). While alone on his ship, he is visited by William who assures Jack that Elizabeth's death was not his fault and that she was free now. Jack, though, feels no different and returns to his cabin to drink some more.
At dawn, Jack emerges from his cabin and takes a good look at his ship and all that he sacrificed for it. There is a flashback and voiceovers of what happened when Elizabeth was pulled out from the sea and we witness Jack at his weakest point in how he argued with Gibbs not to force him to leave Elizabeths side. Flooded by memories, Jack struggles to sever his tie from the Pearl (Jack trying to free himself from the shackle is meant to be symbolismn of how he was bound to the Pearl and all his mistakes). Another crucial point we see he not only lost one life but two, furthering how haunted he's been.
Amongst his grief, he is visited by Elizabeth's spirit who thanks him for all he's ever given her in life and it is then Jack sees what he must do...
(AFTER WATCHING)
If you're confused by the ending, Jack set the Pearl on fire. Then, we are taken to the afterlife where Elizabeth walks along a nameless beach and spots Jack's compass in the sand. Stunned, she looks up to see footprints ahead and then runs forward. Now, this was meant to be up to interpretation. Had Jack died along with the burning of the Pearl and had come looking for her in death? Or was it meant as symbolic that Elizabeth simply meant to search for 'what she really wanted most in the world' being Jack till the end of time? It's up for debate, as I said.
I worked quite hard on this video and I really hope you enjoy it. I'm so sorry if I confused anyone in the summary but I wanted it to be as much as a shock as I could so I hope you were able to be shocked amongst confusion *laughs* This is my first vid on this account and certainly not my last! Please enjoy!! :D

Thank you :) & the dialogue is:
Jack: That's the second time I've had to watch that man sail away with my ship.
Elizabeth: Don't do this.
Jack: Have I ever given you any reason not to trust me?
Then Elizabeth screams Ja-- *explosion*, big breath, water noises, then 'Elizabeth'
