In this episode, we discuss intergenerational relationships. Make sure you catch Julie's Final Thought after the main segment.

The Catt Columns is a mother-daughter advice-giving duo. Julie is a clinical psychologist and Cadence is a social worker in training. In each episode, we give advice to people who have written to us.

  • I'm a 21 year old female with a 56 year old husband. There is a different, he has no kids. I think that your daughter was wrong. Love is not measured by the age of the other person. I didn't chose to fall in love with him. I did however think long and hard about how our relationship would work. In the end I realized that would rather love him now and lose him in 20 years or so than never even give us a chance. I am madly in love with my husband and nobody is going to tell us we're wrong!
