That's not disaster and obviously awesome for local productors. Such economic "disasters" are like soft cheek-slap for Russia - makes it only stronger and wiser. The situation is uncomparable with 98. Сertainly there are no much good in downfall of rouble, but it is controlled by central bank and it is much better than US undustries collapses and Europe problems.

There is no "winner" and "looser". There are facts:
1) EU observers documented stealing and blocking gas by Ukraine
2) International observing company earlier documented and approved that Ukraine stealing gas.
Other hysterics about "evil Russia" is artificially propoganda to blackmail Russia as gas supplier, when the REAL source of this conflict is Naftogas with Ushenko.
By the way, it's an offtop.
