I admire anyone who would admit to being a LibDem. Well done you. I wouldn't help Lib Dems if they paid me. Hypocrites. What happened to all the GE promises to make a new kind of politics that took us away from politicians WHO LIE to get elected?
@Talkathonic I didn't read any of your earlier posts, before posting before but I am confident that Ed through his policy reviews will provide the scope and alternatives for people disillusioned with this sorry state of affairs on the left of British politics. I am confident that most Liberals are to the centre left, but the Lib Dems have put themselves into a very stupid situation
@Lab356 As mentioned previously, I'm not a member of the Liberal Democrat party anymore. I am however a liberal and always will be. A few months ago I swallowed my pride and joined the Labour party. I don't like how authoritarian they are, some of the awful things they've done in the past and several of their ministers, especially Alan Johnson but at a time like this I must show my support for the left, which is where I assure you most Liberal Democrat members sit firmly.
@Talkathonic And I'm sure the best way for you to show your dislike of your current leadership would be kick out Clegg, re-instate Kennedy, a man of who has an ounce of integrity, and refuse to campaign in Oldham for Liberal cabinet members. Watkins, that mad man in Oldham, wants to rip up the Geneva convention, and to think you lot were once centre left of even Labour. Bring back Kennedy
@Talkathonic I'm glad you do, now please go and tell Nick Clegg and his right wing orange book Liberals to put his foot down and get some Liberal policies in that aren't just a matter of convenience to Cameron. He sold you off for a vote on AV, which he himself described as a miserable compromise, and is a majority system as opposed to a proportional one. Farron should look at his coalition partners before accusing Ed of being in with Murdoch, we have made you a good offer to influence policy
@Lab356 Could you please stop tarring everyone with the same brush. Believe me the majority of people who are/were in the Liberal Party and those who voted Liberal Democrat do not support what's going on. I a liberal and always have been, so I take offence at those comments.
I'm glad Labour's 2010 plan for £15,000+ tuition fees got rejected by the Liberals, £9k is a lot, but it's a lot less than Labour wanted to charge!
