The problem with most Christian music is that the lyrics sound forced, but Rich... Rich Mullins lyrics flowed extremely well. That's why hes not just the best Christian artist of this century but hes also one of the best artists in general of the last century.

@Jayoung1000 - Won't agree that "most" sound forced, but indeed, his are authentic, and from the heart. Some, sadly, don't seem to be, though there are many that do. Check out David Meece. He also sings from the heart. Saw him in person, and he means every word.

I met Rich on a couple of occasions,the first was when "Never Picture Perfect" had come out and the second was in mid 92 or 93,he was quite a character and could get under your skin in minutes,he had a band with him called Avenue G at the time,this is probably my favorite song of his.He stopped playing this song half way through noticing I was singing word for word (it was new at the time) and said he thought it was so cool that we already knew the song.He looked for me after the concert to chat
