@Simon4642 Another pouAnother point of view, why the hell does a musician have to be handsome? A musician has to do his own music and in the case of all these new wave artists they considered music as an art; being handsome or not was not the case;

@BlackSkyThunder very good insight..but how would you be so certain that that person would not truly think him beautiful?to meet you on the street i would say you are beautiful if you where the elephant man..but then that is me...i try..i love...i want everyone to be beautiful without any one having to tell them...is that so hard?

@BlackSkyThunder Agreed. I don't find him physically attractive or handsome, So, I guess you can deduce here what I meant by beautiful. It had everything to do with his musical talent and the band. I grew up with this band and it was a very influential time in my life. Good memories.

@BlackSkyThunder Hmm, I don't really understand by your tone here, If you are trying to understand what It is that I define as"Beautiful," which is an individuals choice, or if you are trying to insult me? I am not sure. You don't know me as a person or what I find "Beautiful" in the world. If you are saying that I only define him as beautiful because he is "famous or rich" that is insulting to me.

I don't think anyone's forgotten what 'punk' is, but this is technically 'post-punk'. For whatever was happening in Manhattan or some of the underground UK uprisings, the Sex Pistols were still the short-lived culmination of the movement, Brit side. Pretty much everyone who saw or heard of them thought 'hey, I can do that, but f@cking better'.
