My religion teacher couldn't find a National Geographic video about Philosophy and Aristotle, and she had not time to preview this first before showing the entire class. The worst thing is,she tried to look like she knew what she was doing by showing us this,so we had to sit through the whole thing. Best religion class, ever.

You made Aristotle, one of the most original and greatest thinkers of the human race, look like a fucking idiot. Great.

"so unless there is rigid determinism in quantum mechanics, you're just wrong (see quantum fields)" this makes less than zero sense. How does the claim that GR is deterministic in any way amount to the claim that quantum mech is deterministic? they are completely different and indeed (sadly for modern phys) functionally incompatible theories.

The point I was making is that General relativity certainly agrees with the axioms of causation Aristotle argued unlike quantum mechanics.

    This comment makes zero sense...

I suppose it depends on the sense in which you use the term "classical". Often it is used to refer to physical theories which do not employ the quantisation paradigm. General relativity is undeniably classical in this sense. Alternatively you can use the term to denote physics from Galilean relativity, in which case it isn't.

"General relativity involves quite a bit of fields which is expressible quantum mechanically" - huh? Field theory is classical...
