I like Westerns and this one was really a good one. The acting was phenomenal and the action scenes were everything you would want in a good Western. However, this movie was different from most of the same genre. I like the themes of this film and the overall story. I agree with this review a lot. I recently watched a film called Viva Riva that I loved just as much as this one. Have you heard of it? I think you should do a review. Thanks! vivarivamovie. Com

Can't get why everyone on Earth praised this film, it's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever had to sit through. It's stressed through the whole film how Bale's character is weak because of his one functionnal leg then suddenly at the end he starts jumping from roof to roof like crazy as if he was stuck in the Batman character. Crowe's change of heart was completely silly, as for the acting wtf they both play the same one-dimensional baddasses they play in every of their films ! Come on.

That scene from the hotel with Crowe and Bale ought to have guaranteed an Oscar for both of them.

Absolutely right. Its hard to explain it but usually scenes like that are so dramatic and over the top they dont seem real. In Yuma they nailed all those scenes, the directing and acting was spot on.
I wish they made more movies like this, and i dont like westerners.
