very nice....i am from Arizona and went to Venezuela with AFS in 1980-81. What i gained cant be measured. I use those lessons every day in my life today.

i'm italian and i was an exchange student to the US in 05-06..the best experience of my life!!still in contact with my host family,e see each other every year.AFS ROCKS!

AFS is definitely a life changer. I come from New Zealand and went to Japan on AFS in 1996. Like many of the comments posted, what you learn while away cannot be taught from a book or measured against anything else. Thanks AFS for helping to make my time away an experience of a a lifetime.
