Giant Mole

Osborne1992 back again with the new OSPRO Guide. This one is for the Giant Mole, level 230.

Honestly, just don't bother with the Giant Mole. The drops are worthless and it's just a waste of supplies...

But if you do decide to give it a go, feel free to ask any questions in the comments section below.

Inventory:
1 x Super Set (Attack, Strength, Defence) or better
1 x Prayer Potion (More if you pray against melee)
Bring some food leaving a few spaces free
MUST bring a spade and bulls eye lantern
Teletablets
A source of energy, Terror bird + tireless run scrolls, Super energy potions, Explorer ring, A dip in the salt water spring in Oo'Glog.

Equipment:
Helm of Neit - Prayer bonus
Fire cape - Any cape will do
Fury - Any amulet will do
Korasi's sword - Has stab and magic which the Mole is weak to, any other Stab weapon will do fine, and a whip is fine too. DDS - NO. Poison can make you lose the drop
Bandos Chestplate and Tassets
Dragon Defender - any shield will do
Barrows Gloves
Dragon Boots
Any ring you like.
OR you can wear full Verac's as it can hit through the defense of your enemy.

Giant Mole info:
The giant mole has high defense and a fairly strong melee attack hitting up to 230s i think.
Protect from melee if you are lower in level.
The giant mole will dig to run away after a period of fighting, no specific time unfortunately, it's random and as you saw on the map, the lair of the mole is very large.
LUCKILY, an aggressive familiar attacking the mole can tell you the rough direction of the new location making things easier for you.
The giant mole really doesn't have a worth while drop, the Dragon Medium Helmet, Left Half of Shield and Spear are the best bet, and those are extremely rare, but only worth 60k a piece.

I'm looking for a team to kill the giant mole, please wear at "LEAST" mithril armor and you must have a adamant scimitar with a adamant 2hder for KO. He runs away a lot, so please try to bring energy potions to keep up with me. I can spare salmon or maybe my tuna to help with your health if you get too low. I don't mind tanking neither. So message me if anything or reply to this and hopefully you guys wont get pwned. I can get the mole to 75% health left. maybe 3 more guys like myself. ^_^,

Giant Mole can drop Hard or Elite clue scrolls

@OSPRORuneScape The Giant Mole CAN drop elites, I've gotten one before and I kill these quite frequently. Btw, to prove I'm not a noob troller and don't know what I'm talking about, I'm 138cb using exts and turm to kill with my rapier, the giant mole is worth doing for a relaxed way to make money and play Runescape.
