Hunting for sambar in New Zealand becoming harder and harder as they are pushed in ever more shrinking habitat and pressure from more aggressive Red deer for food and shelter. But if you are lucky and have a posy to hunt for them, then you are hunting the ghost of forest a very challenging and exciting hunt which you will remember for long time to come.Good and safe hunting.

  • Nice one. I have just moved to NZ and may be giving you a call.

  • @MrKeepaustraliawhite Sorry about delay,No worries mate let us know, and you have a good one.

  • nice shot, but young stags grow into big stags! wally!

  • @hmattise It is not a private property.

  • 7mm mag is very impressive...that was a long shot and it dropped it like it was at 50yds..I prefer Winchester rifles because of the mauser characteristics ..like controlled feeding..very important feature..never heard Remington say their rifles have controlled feeding....but I do have one Remington and its a nice rifle...

  • @HamTheDog I like Remington and been shooting with it for long time, but as you said there are some features that Remington doesn't have.Appreciate your comment mate.
