Selena: *finds room number and bursts through the door*
Demi: *follows Selena* what. was. that??
Selena: I dont know what youre talking about
Demi: dont lie to me Selena Marie Gomez. Weve been best friends since kindergarten. I know you better than anyone
Selena: okay, okay, honestly Demz, I really dont know what happened. It was like my brain just froze and I couldnt find the right words. It was like I wanted to get out of there but I couldnt. My legs just froze and I was only kept there by the beat of my heart. It was like we were the only two people on earth.
Demi: oh my gosh sel. They say that only happens with true love!
Selena: whater demi you know I cant fall in love. *groans* taylor lauther killed it
Demi: awww sel! Im sorry
Selena: *hugs her back* thanks demz
-With Nick & Joe-
Joe: sooo nick, what was that back there?
Nick: what was what?
Joe: cmon dude. I had to pull you away and yet you were still looking in that direction
Nick: *blushes* no reason
Joe: whoa dude. Youre blushing! Does this have something to do with a girl?
Nick: *even redder* no way!
Joe: dude, you are totally lying
Nick: I am NOT!
Joe: whatever man.
Nick: it cant be. last time I like a girl was Miley.and she ended up breaking my heart.
Joe: I know man, you were depressed for like a month. Which is why I advise you to stay away from this new girl.
Nick: I CANT joe.
Joe: yes you can! At least just try bro. TRY.
Nick: I told you I cant but ill try. Happy?
Joe: yes. I am.
Nick: good cause Im not.
--With Selena & Demi—
Demi: argh! Its so hot in here! Wanna go to the pool with me?
Selena: sure why not?
--At the pool—
Selena: *stops short* oh no. HES here.
Demi: who?
Selena: Kevin
Demi: oh no. lets hope he doesnt notice us. But in any case, lets make sure theres a lifeguard here. Just in case *looks around for the lifeguard* ohmygosh.
Selena: what?
Demi: look who the lifeguard is
Selena: *looks up and sees Nick* oh no. *feels heart beating faster and blushes redder*
--With Nick—
Nick: *sees the newcomers to the pool* its her! *feels his heart stop* *about to go say hi to her* wait. I promised Joe Id try to stay away from her. *looks away*
--With Selena—
Selena: *was watching Nick and saw what he did* *feels her heart hurting but tries to ignore it* lets just go demz.
Demi: *saw everything* okay, if you want
Kevin: ooops *snickers and pushes her in the pool and jumps on her shoulders*
Selena: ahhh! Kevin! Get off!
Kevin: no! *pushes her head deeper underwater*
Selena: *feels the water burning in her lungs*
Selenas POV:
As I felt the water burning in my lungs, I felt a strong set of arms lift me out of the water before I went under into total blackness.
END POV
Nicks POV
I put my head down trying not to look at her beautiful face.
I hear a scream
I look up and some jerk pushes her in the water
What should I do
Are they playing?
I look back up kevin drying off and she floating face down in the water
I jump in the pool
Shes floating at the top
I grab her and carry her to the side of the pool
Her friend helps me bring her to the ground
She lays there lifeless
Her best friend screams DO SOMETHING! at me .
I cant
She cant
I have to save her
I put my hear to her chest
A steady pulse
Thump..thumpthump..nothing
Ok shes just unconscious
I open her mouth
Slowly my lips touch her pink plump ones
I blow air into her
I pound her chest
Not to hard
I listened to her heartbeat again
Oh no. its getting slower. This couldnt be happening!
I couldnt lose a girl I just met and who is so important to me right now.
I felt tears come to my eyes. Why am I crying? Ive never cried over someone before. I do this daily and its never this emotional? is this what Ashley and Joe were talking about? ..is this love?
