Atari XL/XE - Yoomp!

This is one of the finest games I have ever played on the ATARI.
It's a Polish production, and it's an evidence, that the Atari Scene hasn't died :P

Tak, czyste Atari, bez zadnych dodatkow, udziwnien i rozszerzen w postaci dodatkowych modułów pamięci czy grafiki (no chyba, że o czymś nie wiem) :P

Nie zjedzcie mnie, ale wychowalem sie na C=64 i Amidze, ale do Atari mam szacunek także, żałuję że nie miałem styczności z tym sprzętem w latach ok. 96-98r.

i cannot get this game to load on any emulators for Mac OSX...

can anyone give a hint on the proper emulator to run this on OSX 10.4 or higher?

This is *very* impressive.

I love how the movement matches the music... which is awesome in it's own right.

Very cool game, this reminds me of another game that came out on the 800xl/c64, I think it was called trailblazer, same bouncing ball idea but not through a tunnel, it was just a flat surface, the music wasn't as cool though. I wish more new games would come out taking advantage of how Atari800WinPlus can emulate an Atari with tons of RAM, you can see what an Atari can really do in a demo called Numen, most people back then wouldn't have had the RAM to run that, it's a good example though.

this game is as fun as many of the newer games i've played. I have my .atr transfer program setup on my 800xl and play yoomp daily!

Just do a google for Atari800WinPlus (Seriously, 1 word). I'd give the link to the emulator, but YouTube doesn't allow that.

It allows you to enjoy all this on your PC.
