There are so many plugins that do this better and with more flexibilty with ability to use live with a keyboard. I'm failing to see the advantage of this at all? anyone fill me in as to why i would use this over all the others?

@GregorEicher ok. well you seem a lot calmer now. you should know that anything BASIC and obvious, you can certainly do in live. this particular request is easy: in arrange view. load a midi clip. loop it. you can press the 'punch in' button and the loop bracket button. arm the track. set it to record. let it rip. if the OVR button is yellow, its going to write over the notes. if its not on, it will go over and over allowing you to add DIFFERENT notes. olsmichael@gmail.com 4more
