I still cry when I play this opening scene. I've found other things to fill the void in my life left by Lost but every time I replay this opening scene from The End, I get emotional. I still miss my favorite show.

I can recall similar feelings myself. I was scared of what was going to happen, who would survive, what the ending would be..LOST has always been so bittersweet. Amongst a mix of dread, excitement and a longing for LOST to never end, I knew that LOST, more than just a tv show, was going somewhere I couldn't. This scene is pure magic, and it takes me back to Ep 1, S6 as flight 815 departs at LAX. Same musical composition, same kind of feeling.

Love and miss you LOST. I still constantly think about you, talk about you, and rewatch you, but I miss the excitement of a new season/episode :(

I'll never forget exactly how I felt while watching this scene for the first time on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 8pm. It wasn't the best scene, and I didn't nearly cry. But I felt a very particular mix of emotions here, fully aware of what I was watching: The End. I can even play back the musical composition nearly perfectly in my head. I just can't accurately describe the feelings with my vocabulary. Simply put, though, I will always recall them perfectly whenever I see this. I will never forget.
