I purchased the same cam a couple weeks ago. I couldn't be any happier.
I suggest getting the battery grip for it. I found that it feels much better, portrat functions, and it looks damn cool.

should i get this camera or the nikon d60? also the price with lenses and including every thing about it.

The sony dslr a300 is a great camera, It works really well and i would recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy a dslr for the first time, Very easy use and navigate the menu, And depending on what setting you set it on when to take picture will determine how good the picture comes out. i will be doing a video review sometime soon so look out for that . I hope that helped you
