I dont know why people are saying jane isn't pretty because she is pretty,intelligent etc...

I'm glad that she isnt the a typical beauty because that would be annoying.

(applause) I wear the same kind of clothing, t-length skirts and 40's style snoods and i like snakes. and your right not everyone is alike. in this case the so-called plain girl got her happily ever after...perhaps thats why i like this story so much... and a guy who can't appreciate something past booty shorts and brunette hair..they aren't worth your time.

i also wanted to add the 2006 one had such mystery in it with the red fabric swaying in the wind outside the room "who is in there whats going on" such a seceret..

i don't think the love between Jane and the master is as real as the 2006 version and everyone all the maids the house keeper the master the man who took Jane as a little girl they all seem too nice and i know it's just the style that's being done but i find the rooms and the outdoors too bright.. were as the 2006 version had such a gray over cast upon the whole film and it was beautiful but yeah i guess there just two different versions and will have to see which one i like best by the end
