How about not categorizing everything as liberal, conservative, left or right and accept that the majority of people in powerful positions, in some way or another, knowingly or unknowingly, are helping to sell us all down the river.

in 1976, my poor mom raising 4 kids on her own, $8,000 a year. We lived in Iowa w/ no heat, food from church. IRS said this was impossible, said she was earning money under the table, confiscated her tax refund for next 7 years. If she was alive, she would LOVE RON PAUL!

Yeah the people are the power, but apathy, comfort, and laziness makes up America--Some power, the only power the people have and exercise is turning on their damn HD TV, and watching American Idol and Football, whilst the goverment takes over through entertainment.
