  • This must be quite common for Rotties coz we have had two rotties and we managed to train both to speak on demand. they r the cutest ever though and i have the best temperament of any breed.

  • I agree completely.... I have had other breeds and encounter lots of different dogs out on walks everyday. His temperament is true perfection. Just a big cuddley bear that I will love forever! contrary to their reputation and how mine looks when he's guarding the house he's a big softy!

  • LOL so true! They are absolute babies. they do like to have a job, though. Even if you don't give them one, they're on duty. Ours loves work men, right under the sink with the plumber. "what ya doing, mac?" Loves investigating the tools; "oh, so that's where it goes!"

  • ha that's funny! I generally find that big blokes like big dogs and most men that come to the house think he's great and wouldn't mind a little help with the plumbing from a rottie!! It's the nervous women and people with little dogs that get 'the jitters' around him. Silly people. ignorant. (anyway, I'm not sexist I AM a woman!) - my husband on the vid.

  • How come some Rottweilers have long tails and some have short ones?!?!?!?! I've been confused with this since............ever!!!!!

  • most rotties have their tailes docked when they are pups (hence the 'no tail' version). It is now illegal in this country to dock a pup (hence the 'long tail version'). Lots of people make their own decision about whether or not to dock when their rottie is young. Hope you are no longer confused!

  • This is just amazing

  • you shouldnt spoil the dog, you must not treat them like a human but as a dog... they want to be treated like a dog :)

  • i have a rott he is 2 and he is spoiled !!!!! is that a good thing he is very needy ??? anyway how do you train them to speak ??

  • thx for the tip.

  • Beautiful beautiful doggy! I adore Rotties, I do believe they are my favorite breed. That, and believe it or not, Chihuahuas. Hahahaha, how wierd is that? I've had Rotts in the past, have a TerrierX, and a Chihuahua at the moment. One day, we'll have another Rottweiler.

    Or two.

    Or maybe three.

Hmmm, think we need a BIG house & with a big piece of property.

    And several king sized beds.

    LOL!

  • great dog how do u train to them to bark? please tell me

  • What a beautiful Rotti you have! :) So talented!

  • It isn't hard to teach to speak. My 2 will speak on command and whisper too.
