yea you run the 8800 in PHYSX mode from the nvidia website (runs as a phyx card basically) and you can put the 4870 on the board as well but if your doing this you might want to just spend 50 pounds on a physx card instead ^^ They go in PCI slot's i think

no ati's dont work, although i heard it is possible to run the 8800 with the 4870

Even with an ATi Radeon 4870HD? Isn't the physX feature just for the nvidia cards?

do a complete driver uninstall, use driver sweeper, reinstall the lastest graphics drivers and the latest physX drivers

I've got the same graphics card as you and a dual core 2.2 GHz processor. Without physics i can play it without any problem on the maximum settings and 8XQ anti aliasing, but when i'm on physX on, then i get about 5 fps.

mahn this makes me want to switch to nvidia
i have a 4870 and it drops to 5fps in this game when i enable physx ;(
