I OWN NOTHING!!!

*~READ FIRST~*

Someone had the idea before me to use Beauty and the Beast with the '04 musical version of The Phantom of the Opera. This is not meant to be a rip-off of that, because while watching a trailer of a different version of POTO that I like, I was suddenly inspired to use Beauty and the Beast with the trailer. The movie itself worth at least one watch, I just hope you don't mind plenty of gore.

The story of this Phantom, released in 1989, is about a young modern-day singer named Christine Day, who comes across an old manuscript for an opera written by Erik Destler (Robert Englund, aka Freddy Krueger)-a composer who sold his soul to the devil so the world would love him for his music, but the price being that he would be so horribly disfigured that nobody could ever love him for anything else. While singing a part of the score, Christine is spirited away to her past life, an opera singer whose voice has captivated Destler and would kill to keep her in the spotlight...literally.

  • Beautifully done! Considering Beauty and the Beast and Phantom of the Opera are cut from a similar cloth, it makes perfect sense!

  • There is also a Scarey Mary Poppins you might check that out also.

  • This is absolutely brilliant! The two stories draw so many parallels that it seems natural to mix the two.
