Except in this case the politician is better read than 98% of all economists, most of whom are dull, unthinking Keynesians.

Thx to inflation today is not enough gold. But do we realy need so much money? I dont think so.

I like Ron Paul, but some of his ideas are just unrealistic. Any reputable economist will tell you that Fiat money systems are superior to money based on silver or gold standards. It makes the economy more flexible and prevents depressions. There is not enough gold in the world to satisfy the demand for money nor is their enough gold to back our 15 trillion dollar economy.

Now that I look back I'm ashamed I didn't vote for Ron Paul. Not that it would have counted but its the principle. The guy tells the truth. We are so use to being told a bunch of crap, the whole thing is a freagin sham. Everybodies getting paid.
