Beautiful Disaster - Jon McLaughlin Cover

My junior year of high school, I was having a really difficult time. I know, I know -- that's so cliche, but I can't help the truth. I felt like I was falling apart, but other than that, I couldn't name how I was feeling for the life of me.

Anyways, I was trying to find Kelly Clarkson's song "Beautiful Disaster" and when I searched for it, a video with this really beautiful guy was the first hit. So, curious, I clicked on it and watched.

And then I discovered that Jon McLaughlin has apparently captured the mind of a 16-year-old girl. Listening to this song, I cried. Because I felt like someone had finally looked right at me and said, "Here are the words you've been missing."

That was so melodramatic. I'm almost disgusted with myself, but not enough to change it, because it's true. So, listen, enjoy this incredible songwriter's sentiments.
