Alice Wonderland Woods Theme - Dark Pulse of the Woods Remix

This is a remix of the Wonderland Woods theme written by Cris Vrenna for the PC game American McGee's Alice. This isn't necessarily a "remix" per se, but rather a flat out cover of the song using FL Studio synths. I'm not very pleased with the overall outcome of it. It lacks dynamics and I didn't achieve much variation in the arrangement of the original piece. I think I was just more interested in how well I could replicate the sound of someone as talented as Vrenna. To add a dash of flavor, I took sound clips from the game itself to help portray the plot. I pretty much lost interest in "Dark Pulse of the Woods" about half way through, but I'd worked hard on it so I rushed to get it as finished as I could with what I had. I'd say it's my least favorite piece of work I've done so far. The original soundtrack is a masterpiece. I would highly recommend checking it out along with Vrenna's band Tweaker.
