My Clear Rinse

A rinse is a semipermanent hair color. These come in many colors, from many different brands.I like clear #10; VIA brand right now.

A rinse basically just coats the hair shaft, fills in and coats the cuticle layer. It helps protect the strand and for me reduces the amount of breakage. As I said in the video, it also helped to define the curls more and gave my hair more shine.

I do my rinse about once a month.

If you are using a colored rinse then you may want to wear gloves, because it will stain your hands/nails. You may also use a color brush with this.

Another thing I have noticed, although it may just be the brand but, the clear rinses that I have used tend to foam. The colored rinses that I have used did not foam.

Start off with freshly washed and deep conditioned hair that is free of product. Saturate the hair with the rinse. Braid each section to prevent tangles. Sit under a heated dryer to allow the rinse to penetrate the hair. Rinse thoroughly. style.

I was wondering does that clear rinse cover gray hair? I have gray strains coming in and i want to start covering them and i don't want to get a true color i just want my natural color

Thanks for the video. I'm a single father raising tow girls and this video answered a few question they had. Lord knows I didn't have the answer and my sisters are all natural so they refuse to help with permed hair.

@notsoshy28 so to answer your question.... no it wont only permanents will cover grey hair.... semi permanent (rinses) just add colour to hair that has colour in it and shine, clears have no colour thus only adding shine.
