  • Not a choke, but a slow fade. The offense sucked all year, and it was the pitching that bailed us out. But by September, the two best starters--Jurrjens and Hanson--had gotten hurt, so the starting rotation was this: Hudson, three rookies, and Derek Lowe. The bullpen had been used a lot earlier, so they naturally wore out, and we just accumulated a few more losses than usual. The Phillies collapse of '64 is a choke--the bottom completely fell out of their season, as they lost 10 straight games.

  • Im a Marlins fan and thx for letting us be a part of the series of events that lead to the collapse of the Braves and comeback of the Cards. Go Marlins! Look out in 2012

  • @TheLastBrainLeft I would hate him too. He's owned the Mets for years.

  • As a Mets fan I despise Larry Jones. I really hope his kids cried when he saw that.

  • F'ing AWESOME!!!

  • That was quick. GO CARDS!!!
