Falling Down [Episode Six]; Season One [Your Hurting Yourself]

Since its Friday, I decided to stay at Miley's house for the night. Still working on loosing 15 pounds by next Friday, I haven't ate anything in 2 days. Honestly, I am starving, but I have to reach my goal. I have only lost three pounds, and I have 7 days to loose 12 more.

"Demi" I heard Miley say.

I shook my head, "Yeah?"

"I called out to you 3 times" Mi;ey pointed out.

"Yeah, sorry." I said apologetic.

She smiled, "Its fine, you want some popcorn?"

I shook my head, "No thanks."

"But you always have popcorn" Miley said back.

I rolled my eyes, "I said no, Miley."

She went silent, "Ok, im sorry for bugging you."

He layed on her bed and lifted the sheet over her.

"Miley, im sorry." I said softly.

She shrugged, "Its fine, im just tired."

She closed her eyes and was unresponsize moments later.

I sighed and walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth, as I did so, all the silence got me thinking again, about what I've been doing, and I know its wrong, but I can't stop.

I looked at the toothbrush and put it further down my throat, as I gagged, I slid it further, and further, until I began to puke uncontrollably.

I put a hand on each side of the toilet seat and puke my guts out.

I heard footsteps behind me, but I couldn't stop.

"Woa! Demi" Joe's voice said, coming closer.

He wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled my hair back.

Finally, I stopped pukeing and fell back against the bathtub, pale as ever.

"Why are you doing this to yourself" he said pulling me into a hug.

I gripped tightly onto his shirt and sobbed, "I didn't try to."

"I saw what you did!" Joe said in a more aggressive voice, "Don't lie to me!"

I pulled out of his grip and glared at him, "Why do you care!?"

"Because it you, Demi!" He yelled back at me, "I don't want you to keep doing this to yourself!"

I felt tears rolling down my face again, "Stop acting like you care.... when clearly, you don't!."

I stood up and reached for the doornob, I felt his arm pull me back by the waist and turned me to face him.

"I wasn't done!" He said to me, in a deep, angry voice.

"But I was!" I said back, "Just leave me alone."

He shook his head in dissappointment, "Are you trying to loose weight?"

I looked down, ashamed. I didn't want anyone to know, espicially not Joe.

He sighed, "When did you eat last?"

I stayed silen, not responding.

"Answer me!" He yelled.

I looked up at him, "2 days ago."

"What the fuck is wrong with you!?" he yelled, "Do you have any idea what your doing to yourself!?"

I looked down, "I really don't want to talk about this."

I turned the nob and walked out.

Questions:
1. Why is Joe so concerned?
2. Is what Demi doing wrong, or do you understand her point of view?

It depends how much she loves cheerleading....I was a cheerleader (yes, note the PAST tence 'was') but then again, there's always a bitch in your life that has too say things to lower your self confidence, so what I'm trying to say is. If she loves being a cheerleader, it's right. But then again, wrong. Cause you should not have to loose weight for something like that....
