The inspiring story of how Jose Mojica worked his way up from movie star to priest.

Please don't confuse him with another movie actor named Jose Mojica Marins who played in horror films, nor with the baseball player of the same name.

  • Estoy sorprendido que no esta la historia de Jose Mojca en WIKIPEDIA.

  • @hyena12 He is listed in the Spanish version of Wikipedia.

  • My name is Danny Mojica.Jose's brother is my great grandfather.i thank you for making this film.if you have any more info on him,i would love for you to contact me.i have one photo of him holding fruit in one hand.don't really want to give out too much public info on here.my email is homojica@yahoo.com.thanks.

  • @homojica1 You'd be surprised how many people have written to me either here at YT or through my blog who say they are related to him. Unfortunately, I know very little else about the man other than what I presented here. He was sure an interesting fellow though.

  • WOW! I have viewed videos on here for years and never had an account, but your video was so amazingly done I had to create an account just to "Like" and tell you what a great job you did. Thank You

  • @NaakaiiDine I don't believe anyone ever went to the trouble to do that before. That's very kind of you, and I'm very grateful for such encouraging viewers as you.

  • Is just amazing......thank you so much for sharing this video....i watched the movie YO PECADOR many years ago, when i was a child.....and i was always fascinated with this real story......En nombre de muchos Mexicanos : le doy las gracias. (On behalf of many Mexicans: thank you)

  • @TheTangoTina I didn't know that they even knew each other or I would have included something about that in the movie. Oh well, live and learn.

  • Fascinating, and beautifully done. Did you find anything in your researches about one of his loves - Ada Falcon? Another who left the world of fame to become a recluse and live within the protection of the church.
