@IWannabeJew The word for Messiah, comes from the Hebrew root word, “Msh” meaning to “touch lightly” or “rub with oil” The word is applied to Priests in Exodus 28:41 and Kings, in I Kings 19:16, and Prophets like in I Samuel 12:5, those who were chosen by God to bring about specific tasks. So if Yeshua was called "Anointed One" that would refer to him wouldn't it.
