The electric systems can run indefinetly when plugged into shore power and 1-2 hours on battery depending on the battery size. The speaker system is a great idea and something I believe that has already been discovered. Try Googling "Underwater Music"

How long do the electric ones run? We use one of your gas models everyday during in the summer to harvest Eurasian Water milfoil from lakes. So during those long dives of 5 hours or so, the hummmm of the gas engine just about drives me off the wall. You should add an underwater speaker or something. Sound just needs to go about 50 feet or so
