  • I believe that you belong to what your mother was and any "blood" you had from other First Nations is counted towards what you inherited from your mother. So if you were 1/4 Oneida and 1/4 Mohawk and your mother was from the Oneida Nation then you should be counted as 1/2 Oneida.

  • I feel your pain brother i have heard some say that "i don't need" a band card because i already know who i am.But they should try walking in your shoes for awhile, especially since u really look like native. I don't know what the answer is but i feel u'r frustration. The first step is to put down that whiskey and let that cocaine be, and whatever your path is will come to be.O:NEN KI WAHI!

  • Bless you, brother, for doing this.

  • awsome dont give up the fight the tribes need to include all native blood as 1

  • Im a half breed my mama's enrolled over in canada and they wont let me enroll because my dads white....Soo unfortunatelyyyy I myself have no say in ANY land that is in my grandmothers name. It stresses me out because it makes me myself feel less native over it......Its horrible and absolutely redic.

  • Im part native and have documents to prove it. our land was taken away as well. and they say were not enough for there club. they do this cuz there greedy fucks that want there money so they can live off from the casino. yeah im talking about u stanley crooks of mystic lake at shakopee minnesota!!!

  • I am A Decendent of The Tlingit tribe, and proud of it. My sons are also Tlingit. No matter the percentage they are now, they will always be Native, as will my grandchildren to be. When I am gone my Grandchildrens grandchildren will still be Decendents of the Tlingit people. No card will ever tell me wether I am or am not Native, I am also part white, but I can't prove it.

  • That is crazy not being able to have land from your own people. Need some how to change that.

  • That is what I am talking about because I live here in oklahoma and half of my family are on the Full blood native dawes rolls and the other half or Freedmens and that is bullshit just bullshit!
