Regarding the Resident Evil 3ds game (not sure if this was covered at some point in the comments), the reason it's like this now is because, when you savethe game, the game is there for life. There is no way to delete it. So places like EB games etc won't sell it pre-owned anymore. Also, agreed with the Shao Kahn voice. Steve Richie IS Shao Kahn. However, I do like the new Kahn. His laugh when he wins a match sounds so royal and proper.

@ImNoGoth1 Yes you cant delete the save file but eb dont want to sell it cause they thought you could only play the game on the system it made the save file on or something. They could still trade and sell it, it would just make a new save file on each system

Im an old school Aussie gamer and i never trade my games too ,same deal i buy it and if its shit i still keep it for the exact same reason you do. Also love to collect games ever since i was a young lad and still have my old 2600,nes,snes,sega,dos and everything.

Agreed. MK9 was awesome but the announcer not being Steve was probably my biggest complaint about it.

I wonder if Ed Boon as the announcer in MK1 was supposed to be Shang Tsung just like how Steve Ritchie played Shao Kahn vocally in MK2, I've always wondered that.

I think it'd be pretty bad ass if they just had all the voices doing something in the game. Ed Boon as announcer, Steve Ritchie as Shao Kahn, & that guy from MK4 as.......I don't know maybe a story narrator or something.

To be honest, I like the new announcer. Not sure about the new Shao Kahn, but the new announcer sounds really nasty when he says "Finish Him" or "Finish Her".

Bottom line - MORTAL KOMBAT 2 & 3 had the best voices. This new Mortal KOmbat has the WORST announcer ever.

i grew up with MK... and i love MK1 and MK2, But i have to say this new MK (MK9) is by far the best 1 ever made... Yes you can argue that MK1, MK2, MK3 and so on and so forth, are the best.... but you cant deny that this MK is just pure genius... Ive stop living in the past, and moved on... But the older MK's will never go out of style ;) that is for sure.
