I always wondered what this number looked like in the original production, does not disappoint. Love Elaine Stritch, whether her lagging behind was in character or just her, she is one of a kind. Thanks so much for this, Dean Jones still had it in him, he seems more youthful in this and still in fine voice, and the rest of the cast were amazing. What a great number!

Ok, I am young and I've never seen the original... was it Elaine's character to mess up like that or was she really messing up during this video? Either way, this was very fun to watch! Thanks for posting!

It's Dean Jones!! A superbe singer! He was in OBC to perform company, I saw him with Ellaine Stritch in 1970 and others of OCB.

You were very lucky to see Dean do the role! He opened the run [4/26/1970], but left shortly thereafter.. and was replaced by Larry Kert on 5/29/1970.
