This video shows the building process for three Sack Back Windsor Chairs. These Sack Back WIndsor chairs are handmade of Maple, poplar and oak. A set of two Sack Back Windsor chairs were made with six Bow Back Windsor side chairs and an 7' (84") Farm Table with wide board cherry top and turned legs. The chairs and table base have a distressed traditional milk paint finish ( http://www.milkpaint.com ) with a black over red color. This simulates age and the multiple colors an antique Windsor Chair might have been painted over years of use.
