MTG EDH / Commander - Zur the Enchanter Deck Tech, aka, Zur the Broken ^_^

Here is my EDH deck with Zur the Enchanter as the general. This deck is very fast for an EDH deck, which tend to be moderately slow.

If you can you think of a spell, creature, or enchantment I should run, or a card i should take out and sub with another card, leave me a comment below.

@321irule123 not really. its more focused on keeping 1 person locked down while you kill them.

@RedzicMuharem well, considering that this deck can kill on turn 6 on a fairly consistent basis, mana leak is a very strong counterspell.

@maximus9317568 this build is weak-sauce compared to what i run with now. my current zur deck is a beast. only need to swing with him 3 times.

turn 3 greaves

turn 4 hasty zur, go get diplomatic immunity

turn 5 swing and go get phyresis (now zur has infect)

turn 6 swing and get Emperyal armor.

if hes not dead by then, next turn ill go get Daybreak Coronete

RE: also i'm using academy researchers - with zur having shroud any enchant in hand cant be used on him, just makes cards in hand more worth while/no mercy - if by some freaky chance anyone is hitting you, they wont be for long / cloud cover - can stop them from tinkering with your artifacts, enchants and some of your lands you may not want to lose

Two good enchantments are "Phyresis" from Mirrodin Beseiged which gives Zur infect to win with 10 damage. And Nevermore from Innistrad to insure they can't play their CMDR.

Maybe I missed seeing it, but I would definitely run Rhystic Study and Mystic Remora. Gotta love Card Draw. If your opponent manages to stall you (i.e. kill Zur) it will help get you on the right track a lot quicker.
