A Tribute to Emily | Communitas Creative Arts Contest Winner

This project started out as a creative arts contest at Communitas Supportive Care Society, but it turned into something so much more.
Emily passed away shortly after this was filmed. She lived with with Leigh's disease, a condition which affects metabolism, resulting in major physical disabilities, psychomotor disfunction, etc. Emily was a fighter and inspired us to remember that everyone has the right to belong and feel valuable no matter what debilitating thing stands in our way.
