Good Morning-
Though not suitable for all trainees, this is an excellent hamstring/posterior chain exercise when done correctly. Maintain a natural arch in the spine and push the hips back.
Don't allow the knees to bend too much or you shift the emphasis to the quads and everyone will think you're just doing a squat with awful form.

Safe fairly, but why not just do a RDL?

My girlfriend was doing this at her gym and one of the guys that worked there came over and told her to stop doing it cos its a contradictory movement?? I never got to find out what he meant. I still rate this as a safe movement but its advanced.
