MY 8 second BUICK Grand National VS BBC CAMARO

This is my 84 Buick grand national racing a blown big block camaro. I ran 9.17 on this pass, and got the win. I was fighting boost controller issues, only 20 lbs. boost instead of the supposed 30. This is a mid-low 8 second car.

I'm going to guess your turbo Buick has been retrofitted with a later LC2 intercooled engine from an '86-'87 GN?

Sort of.. same basic type of configuration, but with a 4.1 stage block, heads, and intake. there are maybe 2 or 3 lc2 blocks in the world that can handle 8's

Technically, the 3800 in your 'bird is stronger, not weaker than a stock GN engine. That being said, your engine has a lot of potential, but to turbo it would require a lot of fabbing

I sold my GN because You have to dump 5x as much money to get the same performance as a larger cubic inch motor : (
